Maple Leaf Quilt Block |
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown,
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

ReplyDeleteI'm making maple leaf blocks as mini quilts for Christmas presents. I gave mini quilt stands with a Christmas quilt on it, a few years ago. Since then, I've made different mini quilts each year for most of our family members.
