The Morns Are Meeker Than They Were

Maple Leaf Quilt Block

The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown,
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

  3. I'm making maple leaf blocks as mini quilts for Christmas presents. I gave mini quilt stands with a Christmas quilt on it, a few years ago. Since then, I've made different mini quilts each year for most of our family members.
