Christmas Aprons and Christmas Cookies

Are you ready for your Christmas baking?  I am!

Chocolate Crinkles
½ cup butter
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

1 cup powdered sugar

1.  Mix butter, chocolate, and sugar.  Blend in eggs.  Add vanilla.
2.  Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add to butter mixture just until mixed.  Chill several hours or overnight.
3.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Shape dough into 1-inch balls.  Roll in powdered sugar.  Place about 2 inches apart on baking sheet.  Bake 10-12 minutes.  Do not overbake!  Makes about 6 dozen cookies.

  1. These sound yum.
Is the powdered sugar also what we call icing sugar.
Un sweetened chocolate like cooking chocolate.

Sorry, I am not much of a cook
