Christian Cross Quilt Block and a Song for Sunday

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.

  1. Now you've got me doing it ... Yesterday the choir sang a version of "For the Beauty of the Earth" (by Rutter) and, knowing my part by heart, my mind was all the while thinking of a quilt block!

  3. Wonderful post -- the quilt block the stained glass window (wow!), and the hymn. Hymns are so full of treasures for us all. I was feeling frazzled shortly before reading your post but the hymn video is helping me to settle and to trust Him, our Savior, the fount of every blessing.
