Today the April rain
Is flecked with snow;Soft little flakes, wind-tossed,

Trying to explain
That winter should remain,

No leaves here. There are buds that are coming to life, though.

ReplyDeleteHere in England we have had everything Spring come at the same time! Yes, we have leaves on a lot of trees and that wonderful bright, fresh green haze on the hedgerows. The cherry blossom has hung on for so long this year that there is blossom AND leaves on the trees.
ReplyDeleteWell in Houston, TX we have had spring for awhile. The bluebonnets were beautiful last time I traveled the highway.
ReplyDeleteSome leaves but they are small. I love the woods when I can see what is in it. Without all the foliage on the trees, I could see the big dipper. The stars were so bright.
ReplyDeleteSpring is bustin' out all over ... sounds like a song. I was surprised at the large Horse chestnut tree leaves that were just little green dabs the last time I walked past those trees only a week ago.
ReplyDeleteSpring is finally coming to the Midwest- been cold till just the last few days. Flowers just coming up in garden , waiting for Blooms. Would love to win the Book!!
ReplyDeleteWe do have trees that leaving. We just had the flowering trees bloom over the last two weeks. I was sad to see their blossoms blow away this weekend.
