Hummingbird Visitors, Goodbye until Spring

Visitor
A spark, a glint,
   a glimpse
   of pixie tidbit.
Bright flits, brisk zips,
   a green-gray blue,
   wings, zings, and whirr -

I just heard
   a humming of bird.

  1. What a lovely post! The cross-stitched hummingbird is just beautiful. I wish we had more hummingbirds around our neck of the woods! :-)

  2. I have to make this block! It reminds me of my hummingbird garden. On Labor Day we were visited by one of our hummingbirds who spent a long time visiting our red blooms! The cross-stitch is so beautiful & reminds me of a large print that hung in my grandmother's living room. I often wish that I had that print & have no idea where it went after her death.
