Even though there is still plenty of snow outside, it is spring inside my home with my Texas Wildflowers Disappearing 9-Patch Tablecloth on my dining room table.

Enjoy some Chocolate Peppermint Tea Latte with me!
Chocolate Peppermint Tea Latte
8-quart size box of
powdered milk½ teaspoon salt
2 cups powdered sugar
6–7 ounces powdered coffee creamer
1 pound box Nestle’s Chocolate Quick
Peppermint tea bags
1. Combine powdered milk, salt, powdered sugar, coffee creamer and Nestle’s Chocolate Quick. Stir cocoa mix thoroughly.
2. For each cup, add enough cocoa mix until cup is nearly half full. Add boiling water and stir until mix is dissolved. Add one peppermint tea bag and steep five minutes.
Store remainder of cocoa mix in an airtight container.

I love it! Did you line it? I have two quilted tablecloths. One is of fruit and vegetable prints. I have one more in my brain with a few gifted fabrics that need some complimentary fabrics. My biggest need is fabric to add to the edges that camouflages spills. (I live with the spill champion of the world).
ReplyDeleteI backed it with more fabric from the same line and have a very thin batting in between. I also have a picnic blanket quilt that is nothing but food fabrics. It took me a long time to collect all of the fabrics, but I love it.

Annmarie, I never thought how the title "Texas Wildflowers Disappearing 9-Patch Tablecloth" made it sound like the wildflowers were disappearing! I've now changed the title to "Disappearing 9-Patch Texas Wildflowers Tablecloth." The Disappearing 9-Patch is a quilt pattern. I first made simple 9-patch blocks (3 blocks across by 3 blocks down). Then I cut each block down the center both horizontally and vertically. Next, I took two pieces that were diagonal to each other and switched their places. Finally, I stitched the block back up, creating a Disappearing 9-Patch!
