We need more politicians like Washington today!Cyndyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12570917564586656264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6511052179322289323.post-40357506228761725432014-02-13T16:18:48.451-07:002014-02-13T16:18:48.451-07:00Have not started Feb book yet, snowed in hopefully...Have not started Feb book yet, snowed in hopefully I can go tomorrow and see if the library has it. I was telling the girls at the quilting group, that I read two or three books at a time. Just finished two. Prayers for Sale has arrived but have not started it. I'm sure other presidents have, too. It would be very hard to go it alone in the oval office.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02896669074532380150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6511052179322289323.post-7424513320822517032014-02-13T09:01:12.864-07:002014-02-13T09:01:12.864-07:00George Washington. If we had more of that, there would be less corruption in government.Cheryl's Teapots2Quiltinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005480747596617459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6511052179322289323.post-49190167150897288362014-02-12T21:24:27.473-07:002014-02-12T21:24:27.473-07:00I tend to be rather suspicious of politicians and ...I tend to be rather suspicious of politicians and those who make promises to attain power and then don't live up to them. These days they seem to have lost the ability to compromise or work out their differences. I think Carter was a poor President but I admire all he has done since leaving office. I think Lincoln would have been fascinating to meet in person.Julie Fukudahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704374750710761269noreply@blogger.com
